I was born to be photographer and work with people…

I am a dad of three, happy husband, a photographer, and wedding coach. Like for everyone, it took a while to find my passion at first, but thankfully my love for photography and people was awakened early on. I have now been shooting wedding, couples, and families for over a decade, with hundreds of weddings and literally millions of images under my belt. And even after all this time, I wouldn’t change! It’s simply my passion and I dare say I was born to shoot and work with people. It makes my photographs come alive in a way that will make your grandchildren feel like they were there with you at your wedding.

In my work, first and foremost, I try to make shooting a uniqe experience. I often hear from fiancés that they don’t like to be photographed and that they don’t look nice in photos anyway… I have to admit I haven’t met anyone like that yet. They always end up relaxing when shooting with me and the resulting photos look great!

But I must warn you: if you choose me you are going to wish you could repeat your wedding every year!

Choosing Honza as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we could make for our wedding. Honza is a super professional, a great photographer, very nice, selfless and a really nice guy! Everyone at the wedding with Honza was incredibly satisfied, despite the language barrier of the German-English-Czech wedding! As part of the package, Honza also offered test photos before the wedding so we could get to know each other and then feel comfortable on the "D" day. Honza drove to Chateau Mcely for us (where we got married) and took really incredible photos. Of course, the wedding photos were also great, beautifully edited and everyone looked great in them. We even have a lot of them hanging on our walls at home. 🙂 We would definitely recommend Honza to anyone who wants a great and pleasant photographer for a wedding or anything! Thank you very much.

Vybrat si Honzu jako našeho svatebního fotografa bylo jedno z nejlepších rozhodnutí co jsme mohli kolem naší svatby udělat. Honza je super profesionál, bezva fotograf, strašně milí, obětaví a fakt sympaťák! Všichni na svatbě s Honzou byli neuvěřitelně spokojení, i přes jazykovou bariéru německo-anglicko-české svatby! Honza, jako část balíčku, také nabídl zkušební fotografie před svatbou, abychom se seznámili a cítili se pak v den "D" pohodlně. Honza za námi dojel do Chateau Mcely (kde jsme se pak i brali) a udělal opravdu neuvěřitelné fotky. Samozřejmě i ty svatební fotografie byly super, krásně upravené a každý na nich vypadal skvěle. Dokonce nám spousty z nich visí doma na zdech. 🙂 Určitě bychom Honzu doporučili komukoliv kdo chce skvělého a příjemného fotografa na svatbu nebo na cokoliv! Moc děkujeme.

If you want a recipe for a great wedding, don't forget to mix Honza Dikovský into the ingredients. Honza was able to be as strongly present at our wedding during the organization of the guests and during the joint photo shoot as sensitively hidden and almost invisible in the touching moments in front of the altar. His nature and communication with the guests helped to create the overall atmosphere of the wedding throughout its course. And despite the fact that our wedding took place on Winterfell (ceremony lunch 10 degrees Celsius) :), as some jokingly stated, all the guests and especially the two of us left with a smile on our face and a tear in our eye. Thank you Honza….

Pokud chcete recept na parádní svatbu, tak do ingrediencí nezapomeňte namíchaj Honzu Dikovského. Honza dokázal být na naší svatbě stejně silně přítomný při organizaci hostů a průběhu společného focení jako citlivě skrytý takřka neviditelný v dojemných okamžicích před oltářem. Jeho povaha a komunikace s hosty pomohla k dolazení celkové atmosféřy svatby v celém jejím průběhu. A přesto, že se naše svatba konala na Zimohradu (slavnostní oběd 10 stupňu celsia) :), jak někteří vtipně prohlásili, všichni hosté a především my dva jsme odcházeli s úsměvem na rtu a se slzou v oku. Děkujeme Honzo….

Choosing Honza as your photographer is something like winning the lottery. Imagine being photographed by someone you've known all your life. Someone you trust, with whom it is completely natural for you to talk, laugh with, and at the same time someone who can create an atmosphere of complete well-being around you. Best reference I can give? Everyone at the wedding thought that Honza was our old friend, and after a few minutes they already thought the same about themselves 🙂 Thanks to cooperation with Honza, one rare thing will happen to you: you won't have the feeling that he is there at your wedding someone foreign You will enjoy your wonderful day, Honza will have fun with the whole company, including you, and he will capture all of this in absolutely perfect photos. The fact that all the images will be beautiful in themselves is somehow taken for granted by photographers, but Honza knows how to make you feel absolutely beautiful and natural in them, which in itself does not always have to be the case so self-explanatory 🙂 Whenever you look back on them, it will be like being there again. And you will laugh again!

Zvolit si Honzu za svého fotografa je něco jako výhra v loterii. Představte si, že vás fotí někdo, koho znáte celý život. Někdo, komu důvěřujete, s kým je pro vás úplně přirozené se bavit, smát se s ním, a zároveň někdo, kdo dokáže kolem vás vytvořit atmosféru naprosté pohody. Nejlepší reference, jakou můžu dát? Všichni na svatbě si mysleli, že je Honza náš letitý kamarád, a po pár minutách už si to mysleli i sami o sobě 🙂 Díky spolupráci s Honzou, se vám tak stane jedna vzácná věc: nebudete mít na vaší svatbě pocit, že je tam někdo cizí. Budete si užívat svého nádherného dne, Honza vám bude bavit celou společnost včetně vás a ještě to všechno jakoby nic zachytí na naprosto dokonalé fotky. To, že všechny snímky budou samy o sobě nádherné, to už se u fotografů tak nějak považuje za samozřejmost, ale Honza umí udělat to, že si na nich i vy sami budete připadat naprosto krásně a přirozeně, což už samo o sobě nemusí být vždycky tak samozřejmé 🙂 Kdykoliv se na ně zpětně podíváte, bude to, jako byste tam znovu byli. A budete se znovu smát!

Before the wedding, I thought that having perfect photos was not important to me. That the more important thing is to live the day. But now I know that a photographer can greatly spoil a wedding or, on the contrary, greatly enhance it. Honzo succeeded in the latter. Not only are our wedding photos very beautiful, high-quality and original, but Honza is a person with whom you feel as if you have known him for years, even if you are actually seeing each other for the second time in your life. No idea for a photo was stupid for him, you can see that he likes his job very much, that he is immersed in photography and that for him it is not just to take pictures of a wedding and go home. His energy certainly contributed to the relaxed atmosphere at our wedding. Thanks to the photos, I can relive this beautiful day of ours again and again 🙂 I am very happy that I chose Honza Dikovský as the photographer for our day, he is a fool, but a great fool! :)) Thank you very much!

Před svatbou jsem si říkala, že mít kdoví jak dokonalé fotky pro mě není důležité. Že důležitější je prožít ten den. Ale teď už vím, že fotograf může svatbu velmi zkazit a nebo naopak velmi pozvednout. Honzovi se podařilo to druhé zmíněné. Nejenže naše fotky ze svatby jsou moc krásné, kvalitní a originální, ale Honza je člověk, u kterého máte pocit, jako byste ho znali léta, i když se vlastně vidíte podruhé v životě. Žádný nápad na fotku pro něj nebyl hloupý, je vidět, že má svoji práci moc rád, že je do fotografování ponořený a že to pro něj není jen odfotit si svatbu a jet domů. Určitě má se svojí energií podíl na tom, že na naší svatbě byla uvolněná atmosféra. Díky fotkám můžu tento náš krásný den zase trochu prožívat znovu a znovu 🙂 Jsem moc ráda, že jsem si jako fotografa pro náš den vybrala právě Honzu Dikovského, je to blázen, ale skvělej blázen! :)) Moc děkujeme!

He has an incredible feeling for working with people and created a great, relaxed atmosphere during the photo shoot, which was clearly reflected in the resulting photos. Pokud hledáte svatebního fotografa, který opravdu předčí všechna vaše očekávání, pak už dál nehledejte – Honza je ten pravý! Má neuvěřitelný cit pro práci s lidmi a během focení vytvořil skvělou, uvolněnou atmosféru, což se jednoznačně projevilo na výsledných fotografiích. Fotky jsou absolutně nádherné a dokonale zachycují každý významný moment i ty nejjemnější emoce z našeho velkého dne. Komunikace byla perfektní od samého začátku a profesionalita na každém kroku. Jsme nadšení a nesmírně vděční za tak krásné vzpomínky na naši svatbu!

You can't even imagine my nervousness! The excitement, because the first taste was so perfect that I could hardly imagine that it would surpass the rest of the photos. I honestly don't remember much from that day, I was so full of emotions that many moments merged into one whole and I honestly forgot many parts of the day. Thanks to your records and above all such a quantity (for which you deserve the BIGGEST THANKS), I realized what day it was, what it looked like there, what the guests were wearing, what we ate and so on... and when I she looked at the photos and even now, as I write this, tears roll down my face :))). I can't believe what we experienced, what a perfect day it was, probably the most powerful moment in my life right now. And I am terribly grateful that you could be there. In general, I am a very sensitive person and I perceived the whole day very sincerely, strongly, felt and emotionally, and it was a very private matter for me. Seeing your work with my own eyes was something incredible, how you know how to work with people, how you know how to join a completely new team, but I was breathless and you were a great inspiration to me! I have told David so many times that his choice of photographer was the best decision he made and now I absolutely understand his decision to have YOU there. From the photos, I can feel that day as if it were yesterday, its rawness and strong energy and atmosphere. The way David and I enjoyed it, the looks of family and friends, the way you captured me alone... well, I have no words. It's just the way the two of us are - spontaneous, dynamic, chaotic, energetic and we love each other immensely. I can't get enough of the photos and one is prettier than the other. I like how you didn't set us up and put us in certain positions, you let us breathe completely freely, move as we felt, and that's probably what I appreciate the most. Thanks to you, we have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. I'll be happy if we keep in touch because it was an honor to meet you and I hope it's not the last time we've seen each other.

We would like to thank our Honza very much for his cooperation at our wedding, because thanks to him, our day was unforgettable and beautifully captured in photos. From the first contact, everything was exactly as we imagined - Honza was the only one who had a really sincere interest in making sure that everything at our wedding was perfect and that he too was 100% ready. Our communications always went smoothly and with humor. We especially appreciated his systematicity and positive and humane approach, which always managed to set us in a perfect mood. We were not the only ones who enjoyed the wonderful photos, but also our guests, who praised him the whole time. We've never had such a positive experience with photographers before, and we certainly won't see Honzo for the last time!

Veľmi pekne by sme sa chceli poďakovať nášmu Honzovi za spoluprácu na našej svadbe pretože aj vďaka nemu bol tento náš deň nezabudnuteľný a krásne zachytený na fotkách. Od prvého kontaktu bolo všetko presne tak, ako sme si predstavovali - Honza bol jediný ktorý mal naozaj úprimný záujem o to, aby bolo všetko na našej svadbe dokonalé a aby bol aj on pripravený na 100%. Naše komunikácie vždy prebehli hladko a s humorom. Veľmi sme si vážili hlavne jeho systematickosť a pozitívny a ľudský prístup ktorý nás vedel vždy perfektne naladiť. Z nádherných fotiek sme sa netešili len my, ale aj naši hostia, ktorí ho celý čas chválili. Nikdy sme predtým takúto pozitívnu skúsenosť s fotografmi nemali a určite sa s Honzom nevidíme posledný krát!

Thank you for accepting the challenge completely punk and nodding to the position of substitute photographer 3 days before the wedding, which was supposed to save us from the situation prepared for us by the quarantine of our original photographer. Thank you for blending in beautifully with all the guests at the wedding. You fit in more than great. If it weren't for the 2 cameras by your side, no one would know you're a photographer. We don't understand how you managed to meet and entertain so many people. When saying goodbye, it seemed that a friend of all our friends and a family member was leaving. Thank you for a very pleasant photo shoot process. With your simple advice, you were able to put us at ease. We didn't even know we were taking pictures. The visual demonstration of how the bride is supposed to cuddle with the groom was legendary. We really appreciate the speed with which the photo shoot took place. We didn't want to take pictures for 2 hours. And you came up with the same idea. Thank you for the beautiful photos. Photos that have a soul and capture our emotions from that beautiful day. They look perfect. Thank you for being there with us and capturing our most beautiful day in the most beautiful way.

Děkujeme, že jsi zcela punkově přijal výzvu a 3 dny před svatbou jsi kývnul na pozici náhradního fotografa, který nás měl zachránit před situací, kterou nám připravila karanténa naší původní fotografky. Děkujeme, že jsi se skvěle přimíchal mezi všechny hosty na svatbě. Zapadl jsi více než skvěle. Nebýt těch 2 foťáků po boku, tak by nikdo nepoznal, že jsi fotograf. Nechápeme, jak ses dokázal seznámit a pobavit s tolika lidmi. Při loučení to vypadalo, že odjíždí kamarád všech našich přátel a zároveň člen rodiny. Děkujeme za velmi příjemný proces focení. Svými jednoduchými radami jsi nás dokázal naladit do úplné pohody. Ani jsme nevěděli, že se fotíme. Názorná ukázka, jak se má nevěsta tulit s ženichem, byla legendární. Velmi oceňujeme rychlost, se kterou focení proběhlo. Nechtěli jsme se fotit 2 hodiny. A tys přišel se stejnou myšlenkou. Děkujeme za překrásné fotky. Fotky, které mají duši a vystihují naše emoce z toho krásného dne. Vypadají dokonale. Děkujeme, že jsi u toho byl s námi a zachytil jsi nejkrásněji náš nejkrásnější den.

Honzík. A wedding photographer, a great person, a prankster and dare we say our friend. Yes, even though we didn't know Honza before our wedding and we found him by chance via the internet (in this case, chance means finding a wedding photographer based on lots of positive reviews and especially quality presented work :-)), From the first joint "meeting" online we knew it was the one :-). We only confirmed it during our personal meeting. My husband and I thought of it as just the two of us. Without parents, relatives, friends , the witnesses were strangers. But even though it might seem sad to some, it was perfect. And Honzík was able to complete this perfection with his art and his personality. It felt as if we were not in our Day alone. It was a few hours full of laughter, immediate conversation... And what came out of it? Not just photographs, but indescribably immortalized images of the two of us, of our life, of our day. We are infinitely grateful to you and we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Honzík. Svatební fotograf, skvělý člověk, šprýmař a dovolíme si říci, že i náš kamarád. Ano, byť jsme Honzu před naší svatbou neznali a našli jsme si ho náhodou prostřednictvím internetu (náhoda v tomto případě znamená hledání svatebního fotografa na základě spousty pozitivních recenzí a hlavně kvalitní prezentované práce :-)), Již od prvního společného ,,setkání" online jsme věděli, že je to TEN pravý :-). Při osobní schůzce, která proběhla až přímo v náš Den, jsme se v tom jen utvrdili. Naši svatbu jsme s manželem pojali jako Den pouze o nás dvou. Bez rodičů, příbuzných, kamarádů, i svědci byli cizí lidé. Ale ač by to někomu mohlo připadat smutné, bylo to naopak dokonalé. A tuto dokonalost dokázal svým umem, ale i svoji osobností, dotvořit právě Honzík. S ním jsme si připadali, jako bychom v náš Den nakonec nebyli sami. Bylo to několik hodin plné smíchu, bezprostředního fotografování, povídání si... A co z toho nakonec vzniklo? Ne jen fotografie, ale nepopsatelně zvěčněné obrazy nás dvou, naší lásky, našeho života, našeho Dne. Honzí, jsme Ti neskonale vděčni a upřímně ze srdce Ti děkujeme!

I have been following Honza and his photographic art for a long time before I got engaged. When I got the ring, it was clear that the number 1 choice would be J. His professionalism was incredible. We also exchanged a few more personal emails, based on which I knew that he was exactly the photographer I wanted. The one who takes his work as a mission and does it with heart and soul. When the wedding date was approaching, we arranged an "introductory" video call (a personal meeting was unrealistic at that time due to the distance). After about 3 hours of talking, when we went through almost the entire wedding, I was perhaps even more excited. On the day of the wedding, I appreciated his sense of humor and ability to organize wedding guests. We enjoyed his joy, smiles and encouragement and certainly made the whole wedding process easier. I simply recommend Honza to all ten. For me it is TOP 1 among photographers 😉

Honzu a jeho fotografické umění jsem sledovala už dlouho před zasnoubením. Když jsem dostala prstýnek, bylo jasné, že bude volba číslo 1 J . Jeho profesionalita byla neskutečná. Vyměnili jsme si i pár osobnějších emailů, na základě kterých jsem věděla, že je to přesně ten fotograf, kterého chci. Ten, který svojí práci bere jako poslání a dělá jí srdcem i duší. Když se blížilo datum svatby domluvili jsme si „úvodní“ videohovor (osobní setkání bylo kvůli vzdálenosti v tu dobu nereálné). Asi po 3 hodinách povídání, kdy jsme prošli snad úplně celou svatbu jsem byla nadšená snad ještě více. V den svatby jsem ocenila jeho smysl pro humor a schopnost organizace svatebčanů. Jeho radost, úsměvy a povzbuzování nás moc bavilo a určitě zjednodušilo celý chod svatby. Honzu prostě doporučuju všema deseti. Za mě je to TOP 1 mezi fotografy 😉
